Julie Carr

Julie Carr is the owner and driving inspiration of DRAGONFLY SALON & SPA.

A stylist since 1998, Julie has competed in numerous international competitions throughout her career, winning the Canadian New Comer of the Year Award in 2004, and most recently, being the driving force behind the salon winning the coveted ‘Contessa 2018’ Top Salon in Canada!

Finding inspiration and staying ahead of new trends and procedures, Julie frequently travels to Europe, attends numerous industry trade-related shows, and continues her training with top schools and programs.

Style and hair are not just a career for Julie. They are her passion.

Alex Brewer

Alex Brewer is a stylist at Dragonfly and has been working with the team since 2021.

Alex is easy to talk to, and the conversation flows from the minute you sit in her chair!

Alex always has her eye on the new trends for the season. She is also a fan of education classes continuously honing her skills!

Brittany Cook

Brittany has worked at Dragonfly since 2024 and is growing her skills as a stylist with ongoing training with Julie. Recently, she completed the Sassoon ABC cutting course in Toronto.

While most days are spent attending to her clientele, Brit also lends her expertise as Julie’s assistant on occasion. Brit is a fun loving well-rounded stylist who will help you to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout your appointment.
